Listen (2025)

This documentary was one of two projects I worked on for my senior year at CU Denver. One of my friends, Malakye Tsosie, a documentary film maker wanted to go back to his hometown to highlight a cornerstone of the community; the KGAK radio station run by Harrison Dehiya. Harrison has run the station which has broadcasted exclusively in Dine Bizzad since the 1970s. For this project I acted as a camera operator and camera assistant with Drew Bouchard acting as my Director of Photography. I traveled on a road trip as part of the crew in an attempt to document the Navajo Nation and how a shared culture is able to connect a community.
